Ahoy hoy

So, I switched me n97 to UK Vodafone and downloaded a new webpack for it. Since then, most of the programs that use internet are not working. All of the Nokia Official Apps and some third party ones are not working at all.

On the other hand, Fring, Opera are working fine.

Can anybody explain and  possibly help me solve this issue?

cheers

Not sure what was in the webpack that caused the problem. Did you install something from it? If so try uninstalling. Also check Menu>Settings>Connectivity for any clues. Set default Destination to Internet making your preferred service priority 1. Set main browser connection to Internet or Ask when needed.

Typically a new service provider would send you an SMS to update your phone to their mobile broadband settings. Try asking them for such.

Failing that try hard reset.
