N97 compared to iPhone 3Gs

While replying in another post I just compared few features of N97 and iPhone. Here is the comparison. Did I miss anything?

Some of the pluses of N97 over iPhone are:

- Full Qwerty keyboard (iPhone doesn't have)
- 5MP fully functional digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics and several editing options(iPhone has 3MP basic camera)
- Camera dual LED Flash to take pictures in dark (iPhone useless in dark)
- FM Transmitter (iPhone doesn't have)
- Stereo bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP) (iPhone doesn't have A2DP)
- TV out, (iPhone doesn't have)
- expandable memory with 16gb microSD card (takes total memory to 48GB!) - iPhone has only 16 or 32mb max with no expansion.
- Unlocked so will work on any carrier (locked to AT&T in US and in most countries, where not prohibited by law)
- Widgets so you don't have to opens most used apps like Calendar, email etc., (no widgets in iPhone)
- Flexibility to self sign a lot of free applications and install (iPhone doesn't provide this flexibility)
- Resistive touch screen so you can use it with your gloves on or with stylus in winter (you'll have to use your fingers only with iPhone)
- better screen resolution at 640x360 (iPhone has 480x320)
- Removable battery so you can carry one extra or replace on easily(iPhone does builtin battery)

yes you did...

front camera which can make free skype calls on the n97. iphone has no front camera

also the n97 you can send wap settings,mms settings from carriers web sites to ur phone or have them sent if you call them.. but with the iphone you cant send settings and install them. no wap with iphone.

also you cant put a theme
you cant select a mp3 and set it as a ringtone or change sms tone. you have to pay to convert them and you can only change ringtone with iphone.

you can use n97 as an external drive, everything with iphone has to go through itunes.

iphone adds pointless crappy apps like weather and stocks which you cant delete from the springboard.

apple limit what can go on the iphone. through app store they have to approve every single app, while nokia let you install what you want no problems, emulators games apps you can download from websites and send to ur phone with bluetooth. but iphone ur stuck with what apple approve which most apps in app store ****, and the qwwerty keyboard makes it easier to play games.

what else am i missing.. oh yes the icrap uses google maps for the gps.

the iphone isent worth having even jailbroken but jailbreak adds some pretty sweet apps that apple dont approve of.

thats all i can think of

Good addition to the list...

I particularly like the external hard drive use, front camera and VoIP that make N97 so much more useful...

to be honest i think apple add the features slowly so they can sell more iphones. they slowly add features like mms and video call so they can say this new iphone has these new features and people have a reason to upgrade espesially the apple fans that wont buy any other phone. and will always buya iphone no matter what it lacks.

the 3gs has the same design as the 3g i dident like that i thought they would change it completely

Exactly, all phone manufacturers do that, but apple is slowest and laziest in doing that.
Also nokia, N900 is coming with bit more stuff....
