I am :p I thought it was a very good review and you hit the nail right on the head with a few points - ram and the non removing of JoikuSpot etc!

Another thing that makes no sense is that the 5800/N97 are based on the same OS etc yet they removed the full virtual qwerty keyboard in messages. I know it has a physical one but I would rather use a virtual one. It IS on the phone because on first boot you can use it to select your country. It's there on the 5800 so why they couldn't just leave it in is beyond me

Hey, thanks for the comment Cheesy
As for the virtual qwerty, well...I don't remember I've seen it ever on the N97 Huh but my memory is notoriously bad, so that doesn't mean anything. However, I CAN actually make sense of having it removed, in a way, sorta like PR, you know...physical full qwerty is one of the key features of the N97, so it's obvious they want to make us use it. ... That's not saying I condone such obnoxious means, tho. Embarrassed

I agree with your software issues; especially the PDF reader. I read PDF's quite frequently on my phones so was forced into the upgrade USD10. The most frustrating thing about this is that the PDF reader is freely available on the Internet for nearly any platform but the N97 users are forced to use the Quick Office version.

I also agree strongly about the inability to remove trial programs that I would never use, at least Boingo have now put out a utility to remove the access point that it creates.

The RAM and C drive issues are well documented and I couldn't agree more; but the hard part is after using the phone for a month I don't really think I could go back to a small low res screen and a normal keypad in lieu of the qwerty.

Anyway informative review.
