Hello All,

I have read few articles in few places regarding the greatness of the extra large internal memory storage of 32 GB, the big 3.5" screen, great looks, QWERTY, good camera (Carl Zeiss, dual LED et al) great built of the phone, but is:

1) Nokia N97 the best Smartphone ever release by the Finnish manufacturer till date?
2) Nokia N97 the best Smartphone ever released by any brands till date?

Both positive and negative (if any) comments are welcome!!!

I personally feel this phone has a lot of potential to satisfy atleast one of the points above!!!

Thanks.

It may not be the best (cuz of 900) but it is still one of the bests around. There are several posts that compare N97 with other phones. You will get the gist...

I can't say much as I haven't used any other smart phone.

The N95 8Gb was my first, and the N97 was the natural upgrade.

What other smart phones are there? and I do not include the iFun phone.
That is not a true smart phone at all.

We have several smartphones.. To name a few of the top ones, iphone, Samsung i8910 HD, Sony Xperia, Nokia N97.. We get several comparisions between these phones, but we will not find one user who has used smartphones across all the brands.. That will give a real comparitive study...

IMO it's 50/50 between the N97 and the iPhone. Nokia have included some features Apple will be absolutely kicking themselves about, and vice versa.

I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on an N900 though - should be interesting to see how easy that OS is to use! I'm so used to Symbian phones now I don't know how i'll cope!

needs video codecs & a better office suite, The ability to auto flush the cache when you close the browser, the camera app & Fm transmitter need some Streamlining  & all the  apps need to get the hell out the ram. Only then will it start to gain my respect. As is, It does not have it.
