ok i found this i,m gonna try this myself looks good    1. Homescreen widget support: news feed from FIFA website
It readjusts the match timing according to the phone time-zone.
Automatically changes score as match progresses.
Automatically determines R16,QF,SF and FINAL based on previous match results.
One can add reminder for a match in the calendar.
Home view shows today's matches and the latest news feed.
Matches can be sorted based on date, group, team.
Big FIFA button at top-right brings the main menu.
Clicking title bar brings the option menu.
Remembers the team page visited last time.
Nice accordion style style listing of matches.
Clicking any team flag brings the respective team view.
Works mostly offline(need to go online to update score and feed).
Clicking calendar title toggles calendar between june and july.
Highlight match days in calendar view.
Removes option bar for touch devices.
To update RSS feed and score manually(reloads every 10 minutes).just installed it & works ok on my device hope this a good one for you thanks Ray

I would like a good app that pushes the preier league scores as they happen. Not the espn one or the nokia one - they both seem very delayed!

trouble is that ESPN pushes the scores after about 10 -20 minutes... or at least they used to. It was quicker for me to start the inetrnet and goto sportinglife.co.uk and find the scores. The app is slow and clumsy. that why I dont want to use it. skysports does one for the iphone and there is a similar one for the andriod market - both ar superb and the scores are pushed moments after the goals as I have seen them working. But ESPN - just takes way to long. I have a friend with a tatoo and during the soccer season last year goals were almost instantaneous on her phone. I was at stamford bridge in a coporate event (work) on Saturday just gone - they scored 6 and they all popped up on the HTC phone really quickly as did scores from around the leagues my friend had chosen. It would be good to have something similar. thanks you Lisa xx

thanks for that - this one simply is a shortcut to the internet. but granted it looks promising. Well, if you had a tough time looking for one and I have had a similar experience then I guess there just is no brilliant app out there.
Ill try Nokia goals again. Maybe they have improved that version. Many thanks for looking Ray. Much appreciated your taking the time to search.
