Nokia claims that this version is best to tweak the Ram problems. As in previous versions they included kinetic scrolling, and some other stuff, but in v21 they claimed to have best ram usage, and management so far.
I hope you guys can check and verify that, especially when using nokia built in browser.
Cheers.

Nearly everytime I go into Applications, the whole menu freezes up for about 5 seconds. Annoying. Also, when using the browser, itll still "kill" anything else running if it needs more ram or something. Annoying.

its funny vodafone uk black has the v20 and months later white DOES NOT thats so stupid im so glad we can change our code and not wait for now keeya as the americans pronounce it lol damn it .. the v21 update has made my phone more laggy anyway lol

LOL Not all Americans say it that way.. I pronounce it quickly like Nokeya.
the way you have it is a southern slang.  I can't even stand to hear it pronounced that way. but I must admit it is quite humorous. like "Howdy yall". a northerner will simply say "Hey, whats up?'", "Hey, whats going on?",  "Yo-what up?" or "what up?" which is northern slang spoken at a moderate speed. But if you slow "what up?" down a lot (mainly the "W & 1st u"), deepen your voice & blend the two words together it becomes a southern slang that sounds like "Wuhup?"

Wouldn't suprise me if many of you guys got defect hardware, haven't experienced any of these problems that has been mentioned here. Or maybe you guys install some kind of crap on your phone that makes all these problems?, Cheers

It's not that, But I tracked down the problem. Apparently during the Upgrade to v21 & refreshing of the files to the playlist one or more of my videos got corrupted and caused the video player to act up. I realized it when I went to delete a file and it was saying "unable to delete,  file is playing". So, I used the file manager to locate the file and delete it.  After that the video player & kinetic scrolling now work better (still not as good as with V20 tho)  it as least works. So basically, the problem was the system was constantly playing a video & It didn't matter If I hard reset or flashed the device or How much ram I had (currently at 64MB) free with only one app installed (X-plore). So lets call this an apology since for the moment V21 seems okay.

Pleas try to understand; for me to loose the only decent playing video format I have will make me fail the N97. As much as I hate music in my playlist I won't go off about it since they can be deleted. But the question remains; what the hell are they doing there?

So there you go guys. The fix for jerky kinetic scrolling and bad video playback is to  Try formatting E & F.

Again, Sorry all.

I must be lucky because I have none of these problems some people are reporting.
After 2.1 my phone is now very responsive and a pleasure to use.

I find my self always using the built in browser a lot more as it works so well now and is quite fast.

I used to get the occasional stutter in my trans coded movies but not anymore.
I'm also sure I'm getting a bit more out of my battery now, maybe due to my widgets not updating as frequently, not sure.

Overall, very happy with this firmware. Phone is now working as it should have from the start.
