Great Post, Glad you have placed it. I just hope that they have added "edit labels" to the Options in Contacts.

I also hope that memory allocation is fixed as I know he has a lot of things running but two things I noticed were that his showed 36.6Mb while I have now 40.1Mb and also that two of his widgets never completed the loading process for whatever reason, it could be that he never allowed access or that there still is a minor glitch.

It will be a much needed improvement, that we all can benefit from, Thanks for the post.

This looks good.  Some real improvements.  Now, let's get the finger spread zoom working and I will be very happy.

Looking forward to this greatly.  Other "written" reviews i've seen say that your phone memory will increase by 25mb.  Seeing his stand at 36mb makes me less confident of this.  Although he probably still has all the apps etc on the phone memory and hasnt moved them to mass memory....i hope.   Not interested in the new widgets apart from the facebook. I bet the CNN and ESPN etc will just be shortcuts to the web pages,  so totally pointless imho....for me anyway.

So im looking forward to more memory(hopefully),  Kinetic scrolling (who isnt Grin)  and the improved UI in the music player.

I hope this gets rolled out to us soon and Vodafone dont hold it back for weeks and weeks and weeks etc etc etc Angry

this update may be the one last thing we n97 owners need to truly enjoy this powerful beast, and shut the mouth of the "iphone-slaves"

just seen the facebook group and its been said on the comments by Nokia N97 Forum (who is that?) that it will be released on the 1st oct??    I'm assuming one of the mods in here are "Nokia N97 Forum"  or the group creater??    Can you confirm where you got this info??   Im very tempted to change my product code to get it on the 1st if vodafone dont release it straight away.    Also the same person mentioned that we get it directly although that post seems to have disappeared from the comments now???

I'd be more than happy to see Nokia Internet Radio available for the N97 - just as it was for my N95...

There is an edit to the post for those of you that have already read the post, if you are waiting on v12, it will not happen, as this version is the only one being worked on and released, so whatever version you have at this time you will go from it to this one.

For which day it will actually be released, you know Nokia is known for giving no exact time, although it may be on the first it may be on the 28th of this month or even the Oct 5th, I go with something like this only because they like to start the release it early in the week, but since I have said this, it will probably be on the 1st.

Im really looking forward to this. But when I looked at the video abow I notised the phone he is holding in his hand.....is that really a N97? Have they done a new design to it? The silver button is bigger on that one, and the Gren and red answer and hand up "buttons" are not centered but to the right side. I can also se the Nokia logo on to the top, and the shape of the phone is also different. I think it ugly from the one I have, exept maybe from the shape of it.

Sorry for my bad English ;-)
