can anybody tell me why after the phoenix hack i cant install rom patcher?

requested application access not granted

1st make sure rompatcher is not already installed.

if not maybe it's the version.  ill upload the old version as well.

After you install the 2.2  lite version activate the patches and then install the version 2.3.
if you don't you will have to manually activate the patch every time you restart the phone..

one question , bronx do you think if i treid and installed helloox on the v21 or v20 its gonna run ?
on the hacked version for sure what do you think if it works then we solve the restart problem whenever you restart you gonna have to patch back the fone

You may be right there. Have hacked twice now successfully. Each time the RomPatcher is installed & working with app icon in Applications, BUT its not in Application Manager listing.

Note I have hacked boot file to change startup sound clip. This works every time with c2z on auto-start, so guessing that's working ok.

BTW what method do you use to extract files from z: to PC? I had to copy locally, zip then email - bluetooth might have worked as well. Couldn't find it from Windows Explorer even when zipped, renamed etc.

Its a lil bit tricky mate , but its simple too at the same time , just go to your device open xplorer copy drive z: and paste on the memory card or drive e it deosnt matter after that add it to zipp or archiv make it dot rar its gonna take time and space then plugg your fone with mass memory mode you gonna see the z drive copy it to your pc and everything is done cuz other wise as you know z is hidden and if you connect with pc suite mode you aint gonna see drive z on your fone so you gonna have to add to archiv and connect your fone in mass memory mode or to the sd card then remove the sd card and connect it directly to you pc in this case you dont need to add drive z to zipp or archiv , i hope i got what you want

Thanks for that. Like I said, had managed to do it copying to E: & zipping but still couldn't see it on Windows Explorer, so emailed from phone.

I think your suggestion of connecting in mass storage is the answer.

Yes , and by the way i fought with the fone many times untill i got it how to do lol , and if you have sd card is much easier you only need to take out the sd card after copying it und plug directly to the computer if you have this option , cuz i know not all the pcs have the this option cheers , and you are welcome any other questions feel free to ask !

Anyone had any luck getting autostart to work on RMP+ 2.3?

Although I have transition effect working fine I have to manually put c2z patch on, then toggle effects off/on to get it working again after re-start.

I thought autostart was working initially as the first hack I put on, changing startup sound & adding message, always worked. I assumed c2z patch was needed for this, but since found it doesn't need a patch at all.

Tried re-installing RMP+ 2.3 (mine was already installed after hack) but that wouldn't install & neither would 2.2 lite. Then tried re-naming RPautostart which was a big mistake as it took ages to re-boot & corrupted mass storage, so back to the drawing board.

BTW I even tried HelloOX2 2.3. That installed ok but when run hangs like it did on unhacked phone.

i seem to be having trouble with phoenix scan product works but firmware update doesnt my product code aint there and the ... button dont find it any advice thanks

it comes up with neither dp1.0 nor dp2.0 was found for the product, or the product cannot be identified

Is your Phone set to PC mode? also make sure you have all the files.

Yes I use signtools which usually solves problem, but error I get trying to re-install RMP+ is after certificate check "requested application access not granted". Of course putting patch in to override this probably won't work as you are trying to install the very app that puts that in. Seems like I'm stuck with pre-installed version.

Can't understand why some people have this after hack & others don't. Mine is always there after Refurbish with Phoenix.

As suggested something is missing as autostart module not working. It's been suggested that changing name of RomPatcherauto.exe may solve it but a bit wary now as managed to corrupt phone at my last attempt.
